At the center is Adobea, a quiet but powerful believer whose life becomes a living testimony to those around her. Each encounter she has with people from different walks of life shows the transforming power of Christ in ways that feel honest, raw, and deeply relatable.

Story Begins with Tina

The pilot introduces us to Tina, played by Grace Boateng. Tina has been in church all her life — but only out of routine. Like so many, her Sundays have become more about habit than heart. Tired and disillusioned, she reaches a breaking point where her faith feels empty. That’s when her path crosses with Adobea, portrayed by Afoley Shika. Their encounter sparks a journey of doubt, rediscovery, and learning the difference between religion and a real relationship with God. Written and directed by Joseph Yaw Mawunyo, The Witness is more than just a series — it’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and ask: What does faith truly mean to me? Through heartfelt dialogue, real-life questions, and relatable characters, the series hopes to speak to both believers and seekers who are longing for something deeper than routine.
